DOHA: Following the Qatar’s Emir visit to Islamabad on Saturday, Qatar will be doing $3 billion worth of new investments in the form of deposits and direct investments in Pakistan, as reported by Bloomberg today.

This new investment will bring around the total economic partnership between Qatar and Pakistan to $9 billion, the Qatar News Agency reported, quoting foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani.

This will give an encouraging boost to the country’s economy as the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s  government is seeking to stabilize the economy with loans from Gulf countries and international donors.
