Punjab govt to release salaries, pensions on March 16 ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr
KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to give advance salary and pension to Hindu employees on the occasion of Diwali.
According to the notification, the provincial government has also decided to give advance salary and pension to Hindu employees.
Hindu employees will be paid their salary and pension by October 15 instead of November 1.
Earlier, the Sindh government had declared a holiday in the province on October 20, keeping in mind the festival of the minority community.
The provincial government has also issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification issued, a holiday has been declared for the Hindu community on the occasion of Diwali.
All government offices in Sindh will remain closed on Monday, October 20.
