Sugar prices at utility stores likely to drop by RS 10-15 per kg

The price of sugar for common consumers at utility stores is likely to be reduced by RS 10 to RS 15.

According to the sources, currently the price of sugar for general consumers at Utility Stores Corporation is RS 155 per kg.

While sugar for registered users under Benazir Income Support Program is RS 109 per kg.

There will be no reduction in the price of sugar for Benazir Income Support Program users, the Board of Utility Stores will give final approval for the reduction in sugar prices.

The prices of different pulses are also being reviewed for changes.
