26 schools closed in THIS city due to floods!

SIALKOT: In light of recent rains and flooding, 26 government educational institutions in Sialkot have been closed for an additional two days.

According to a notification issued by the district administration on the directives of the Deputy Commissioner, all affected schools will remain closed for students on September 11 and 12. However, teaching staff have been directed to report to their respective schools and ensure their attendance.

The district administration stated that the decision was made due to the impact of recent weather conditions on several schools, prioritizing the safety of students amid the ongoing emergency.

As per the notification, the closures include 4 schools in Daska, 6 in Sialkot, 6 in Pasrur, and 8 in Sambrial.

Authorities added that the move is aimed at safeguarding students and maintaining continuity in the education process despite natural calamities.
