ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme (PMYLS) registration deadline will now officially be extended until June 1, 2025, giving students even more time to apply for the initiative.

The PMYLS program is intended to enhance student empowerment through access to technology, and the closing date was originally set for May 20.

However, the government of Pakistan has extended the deadline by 10 days as a result of high interest and requests from students for a longer deadline.

Students who are eligible and enrolled in public sector universities are encouraged to register online. The PM Youth Laptop Scheme is a key initiative in the government’s larger campaign for digital access, and once completed, the initiative can lead to better learning and more success across the country.

Students who qualify and wish to apply are encouraged to register before the new deadline. As per prior statements, there will be no further extension.
