ISLAMABAD: Global recognition of skills in students is growing at significant pace. As world’s fifth largest population, Pakistan presents huge potential for the global workforce given skill building is inculcated during the student life.

Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE) has launched a landmark initiative for Skill Building in collaboration with Bigger Picture Consulting. Speaking at the occasion, Qaisar Alam, Chairman FBISE, remarked, “We are excited to collaborate with Bigger Picture Consulting for skill building of students across all our affiliated institutions both within and outside Pakistan. FBISE has declared 2023 as the year of Skill Building and this initiative is perfectly aligned with our vision. Under the initiative, we will work on the verticals of Sports, Entrepreneurial Skills and Presentability. Teachers and students alike will benefit from the initiative”. Founder of Bigger Picture Consulting, Haider Ali Daud, shared that, “This is a game changing initiative in education and one that is direly needed across Pakistan. Education system is only as good as its teachers and students. We live in an inter-connected world where skills matter equally, if not more than degrees. We are grateful to FBISE for this opportunity to collaborate so that together with teachers and students we may create possibilities around education.”
