Federal govt announces hundreds of jobs, check eligibility criteria inside

ISLAMABAD: In a ground breaking move, the federal government has announced over 200 recruitments for capable teachers in education department.

The government has advertised 257 posts of teachers in the school education departments. Out of these vacancies, 212 would be for males and the remaining 42 for female candidates for the post of an elementary school teacher in BPS-14.

The last date for submission of applications is February 10, 2025, so be quick to apply as the time for submission is limited.

Application Process

The candidate must hold the required educational qualification for the post and must be a Pakistani national in accordance with the quota and age. You can apply through the website (https://induction.fgei.gov.pk/) online and upload all the needed documents while submitting the application online.

Selection will be on the basis of a written test that would be conducted in different cities: Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta.

You will have to download your roll number slip from your login account and take it with you to the examination center. After the test, the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, during which you will have to provide original documents such as academic certificates.

If you are a public sector employee, then you will need to produce a fresh No Objection Certificate from your department.

Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualification required for the post has been fixed at a Second Class Bachelor Degree or Grade-C from an institution recognized by HEC, along with the corresponding evidence of qualifications.

The candidate must be aged between 18 to 30 years, and she/he shall be entitled to a general age relaxation of 5 years. The maximum upper age limit can be further relaxed in special cases, but one shall be eligible for one relaxation category in any case.
