Govt announces promotions for THESE teachers & school employees!

KARACHI: The provincial government of government has decided to promote teachers and non-teaching employees of the School Education Department to the next grade, here on Saturday.

As per the issued notification, the School Education Department has instructed all regional offices to prepare and submit seniority lists of eligible teaching and non-teaching staff by October 15. Once compiled, these lists will be forwarded to the divisional directors, who will then send the finalized versions to the department for review.

While the promotion process will include high school teachers and subject specialists among the teaching staff, along with other non-teaching personnel serving under the department.

After the seniority lists are finalized, a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting will be convened to approve the promotions. The meeting will be chaired by the Secretary of School Education, and all committee members will participate in evaluating the cases.

Officials said the move aims to address long-standing delays in staff promotions and ensure that teachers and education workers across Sindh receive their due career advancements promptly.
