Govt schools closed for 2 more days: Details inside

SIALKOT: Sialkot, 26 government educational institutions in flood and rain-affected areas have been closed for two more days.

According to a notification issued by the district administration, on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, there will be a holiday for students on September 11 and 12, however, the teaching staff has been instructed to come to school and ensure attendance.

The district administration says that several educational institutions have been affected due to the recent rains and floods and the decision to close schools has been taken keeping in mind the safety of students and the emergency situation.

The notification also states that 4 schools in Daska, 6 in Sialkot, 6 in Pasrur and 8 in Sambrial will remain closed.

This decision will ensure the safety of students and teachers in the affected areas so that the teaching process is not affected during natural disasters.
