PESHAWAR: Due to extreme weather and heatwave in Pakistan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government declared on Friday that all public and private schools will have summer breaks.

According to a statement from the Education Department, primary students’ summer break will begin on June 1 and go until August 31.

The senior wing will begin their holiday break on June 15, 2024. The upcoming weeks will mark the beginning of the vacation season in the upper cold districts.

Schools will be closed in cooler climates from July 1 until August 31. Because of the milder environment in certain districts, the schedule has been adjusted to provide a more balanced vacation duration that is appropriate for the local weather.
