ISLAMABAD: In a major move that will highly benefit students in Lahore as well as in Punjab, a special fee relaxation has been announced for students of matric and intermediate classes by the Inter Board Coordination Commission (IBCC).

Under the new policy, the result card and certificate will be checked by all educational boards for a single fee. The IBCC has formally informed all educational boards about the policy.

Previously, under the old mechanism, the certificate holder was required to make individual payments for the verification of the result card and the certificate. However, in the new mechanism, the result card and the certificate will now be verified simultaneously for a fee.

Not just in Punjab, this ruling will affect all educational boards in the entire country of Pakistan.

According to sources, millions of applicants are expected to benefit from this development every year, which aims to eliminate cost constraints in carrying out verification processes.
