Punjab govt announces IT internship program with 50,000 monthly stipend

LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced an IT Internship Program that will impart practical skills to graduates and provide job opportunities.

The students will be paid Rs 50,000 per month for work experience in modern technology under this program.

This scheme was inaugurated by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to empower fresh IT and computer science graduates with the latest market-oriented skills.

The selected interns will train in advanced technologies while getting a monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Have a degree in IT or Computer Science completed within the last four years.
  • Hold a valid Punjab domicile.
  • Have a valid and verifiable CNIC (identity card).

This will help increase job prospects for the youth of Punjab and enhance their technical capabilities in the rapidly growing information technology sector.
