PESHAWAR: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has set a target of enrolling one million children in schools during the admission drive for the new academic year.
The provincial government has decided to launch an enrollment drive for the new academic year. Provincial Education Minister Faisal Tarakai said on Sunday that the government’s goal under this drive is to ensure the admission of one million children in schools.
He stressed that out-of-school children will be brought back into the education system in any case. He said that the admission drive will continue till April 30, adding that for the convenience of students, admission will also be given in second-shift schools wherever necessary.
