PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) education department has issued new winter guidelines for students across the province, allowing them to wear sweaters and gloves of any color during the cold season.
Officials said the decision is aimed at helping students stay warm without being restricted by a single-color requirement.
The Directorate of Education has informed all schools and educational institutions to implement the updated winter clothing policy immediately. The department said the move is aimed at providing comfort and flexibility as temperatures continue to drop across the province.
Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the government has already announced an extension of winter vacations for schools in cold regions. Classes will close on December 16 and will remain suspended for two and a half months due to severe weather conditions.
