Matric science exam 2024: BSEK announces annual results

KARACHI: The Karachi Board of Secondary Education (BSEK) has announced the annual results of the matric science examinations for the year 2024, here on Friday.

As per the details, this year, 163,012 candidates registered for the Science Group examinations, 162,026 appeared, while 933 candidates were absent, and 29,455 were declared unsuccessful.

In science group, Hafiz Abdul Rafay’s son of Tariq Mahboob of Delhi Government Boys Secondary School Karimabad FB Area secured the first position by securing roll number 310773 with 94.55% marks.

Similarly, Roll No. 453587 Muhammad Imran’s daughter Rumeesa Imran from Al-Khalil Model School Shamsi Society Malir Halt got second with 94.27% marks while Rukhsar’s daughter Abdullah from Little Focus School Block got Roll No. 432054. F North Nazimabad bagged the third position with 93.18% marks.

A total of 85,743 male and 77,269 female students appeared in the science group exams, with a pass rate of 81.23 percent. Of the successful candidates, 23,943 got A1 grade, 45,357 got A grade, 37,595 got B grade, 20,837 got C grade, 4,031 got D grade and 25 got E grade.

The total number of successful candidates in all papers is 131,614.

The results have been uploaded on the official website of the board www.bsek.edu.pk and students will be able to check them on the website later tonight.
