Mohmand closes 53 schools amid security concerns

MOHMAND: Due to security concerns in Mohmand district, it has been decided to close 53 educational institutions until further notice.

According to the details, a notification has been issued by the district administration and the education department. According to the notification, educational activities have been temporarily suspended in the border areas of Baizai, Khoizai and Safi tehsils due to security concerns.

The notification said that this step was taken keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers in the context of the tense Pak-Afghan situation. A decision will be taken regarding the reopening of educational institutions after reviewing the situation.
