ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared an education emergency across Pakistan, marking a significant step towards transforming the country’s education landscape.
On International Literacy Day, the prime minister called on the private sector and civil society to join forces with the government to achieve a more literate, just, and sustainable society.
The government has a new plan to improve education. They want to help 26 million children who are not in school to start attending classes.
The government will also give food to students in school so they don’t go hungry. Additionally, they will offer scholarships and rewards to encourage students to stay in school.
