Punjab boards raise exam attempts to six: Details inside

LAHORE: All education boards in Punjab have increased the number of examination opportunities for failed students from 4 to 6. Now students will be able to take the exam 6 times in 4 years. The new policy will be implemented from the annual examination 2024.

The number of examination opportunities for failed students in all boards of Punjab has been increased, the number of opportunities for students to take the exam has been increased to 6. Failed students will be allowed to take the exam 6 times in a period of 4 years.

The decision will apply to all groups including Matric, Intermediate and O Level, A Level. Students taking additional opportunities will have to take the exam under the existing syllabus, the policy will also apply to those who take the exam for additional subjects after passing.
