Punjab CM Laptop scheme 2025: Grievance redressal closed, students await merit list

LAHORE: The Punjab Chief Minister’s Laptop Scheme 2025 has closed its grievance redressal process for applications submitted by students of public universities across the province.

A total of 93,441 applications were received, and students are now eagerly awaiting the merit lists. The scheme aims to distribute 110,000 laptops equipped with cutting-edge technology to eligible BS students (1st and 2nd semester) in public sector HED colleges, universities, and medical and dental colleges.

Notably, students from private colleges are not eligible for this program.

The initiative focuses on promoting educational growth, digital inclusion, skill development, and economic empowerment among the youth in Punjab. According to recent updates, the merit list for Phases IV and V of the scheme has been announced, and selected candidates can check their status on the official website.

The laptop distribution process is expected to begin soon after the final confirmation of the merit lists.
