The Honhaar Scholarship Scheme is now more accessible than ever, thanks to the establishment of the ‘Honhaar Scholarship Help Desk‘ on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
During a meeting, CM Maryam Nawaz said, “The talented students must focus on their studies whereas the government will pay their fees; I want to put all available resources at the disposal of students; I consider each student in Punjab like my daughter or son; I think of them as a mother.”
Students can contact the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme on WhatsApp, landline numbers, and social media for information and prompt resolution of their complaints.
The ‘Honhaar Scholarship Help Desk’ was created on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to help students from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
Students can call the helpline numbers for the Honhaar Scholarship on the following numbers 042-99231903-4, WhatsApp at 0303-4002777, and 0303-4002999.
Additionally, online complaints can be made at complainthonhaar@punjabhec.gov.pk and honhaar@punjabhec.gov.pk.
Earlier, CM Maryam Nawaz extended the Honhaar Scholarship Program to students from other provinces.
The Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz today however took a high-level meeting to deliberate on eligible candidates for the Honhaar Scholarship Program where she further directed the expansion of scholarship provision of aid for deserving students from other provinces should be done on merit-based criteria being followed in Punjab.
CM Maryam Nawaz agreed and further approved that beneficiaries would also get laptops under the Punjab Laptop Scheme so that an additional 110,000 students could receive this facility.
Formal approval under the Honhaar Scholarship Program for second-year, third-year, and fourth-year students in Punjab where laptop distribution must have a minimum eligibility criterion of 65 percent marks.
