Schools to remain closed in THIS city due to heavy rain

KARACHI: The Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association has announced the closure of private educational institutions in Karachi on Wednesday.

The Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association has also requested the Education Minister for a public holiday, saying that due to rain in the city, a lot of water has accumulated on the roads, school vans will also face difficulties in the early morning.

It should be noted that due to rain in Karachi, water has accumulated in many areas, rain and water from the Malir River have entered houses in Khamiso Joki Goth.

There are also reports of some people being trapped in the Malir River, the Sindh Chief Minister has directed to provide full assistance to the residents and said that all people should be shifted to a safe place.
