Sindh Govt issues new fee guidelines for private schools

KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has issued instructions for private schools in the province.

According to Additional Director Registration Rafia Javed, the academic year 2026-2027 in the province has started from April 1, so fees should be collected from matriculation students only until March 2026.

Rafia Javed said that matriculation examinations in the province have been going on since April 10, 2026, so no additional fees should be charged on students appearing for the April 2026 exams. There is a fee schedule for students going to classes 9 to 10.

She added that fees for June and July 2026 will be collected in April and May, students from pre-primary to class 9 are also included in the new fee system.

Rafia Javed directed schools to issue separate fee vouchers, saying that the June fee vouchers will be effective until June 30, while the July vouchers are valid until July 31, 2026.
