Sindh moves toward e-marking system for faster & transparent exams

KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu gave great news to the students regarding the e-marking system in the examinations.

According to the details, Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu, while addressing the meeting of the Inter-Board Coordination Commission, said that the e-marking system will be adopted for transparent examinations. In the current system, there is a delay in the preparation of results, however, e-marking will make this process faster and more effective. However, some boards have already started e-marking of some papers.

The minister said that modern technology will be used in all stages of preparation and checking of questions and the affairs of the board will be run according to the modern system.

In addition, the appointment of seventy to eighty thousand teachers has been completed and steps will be taken to bring children back from schools.

He further said that the matter of ICCBS has been sent to the law department and the institution will be strengthened and stabilized by taking all stakeholders, donors and the University of Karachi into confidence.

The provincial minister said that the Sindh government will not take any action against the University of Karachi and all stakeholders will be informed of the situation after the Law Department’s suggestions.
