Sindh university announces summer vacations

KARACHI: Summer Vacation of the University of Sindh has been officially announced for all institutes, departments for two months, starting from June 1 to July 31.

According to the notice issued by the registrar’s office on Friday, classes shall resume on August 3, following the vacation period.

It has also been notified that directors and chairpersons will be present in the office twice weekly, i.e., on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the vacation.

According to the notice, Pro Vice Chancellors, Dean of Faculties, administrative officials, and other assisting staff members will perform their regular duties as usual.

Assisting staff comprises programmers, superintendents, clerks, laboratory assistants, internet operators, computer operators, guards, and peons.

Furthermore, it has been advised to the faculty members to submit the semester examination result sheets to the concerned directors and chairpersons before June 1.
