UHS announces BDS first professional exam result

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Friday announced the result of the BDS first professional annual examinations 2024, with an overall success percentage of 54.71 per cent.

According to a UHS spokesman, a total of 996 students from 16 dental colleges appeared in the exams, out of which 540 passed.

As per details, the female students secured the top three positions

Fatima Naveed of Niazi Medical and Dental College, Sargodha, secured the first position with 621 out of 700 marks, while Amina Ejaz of FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry, Lahore, stood second with 620 marks.

Areeza Ali, also from FMH College, secured the third position with 596 marks. The complete results are available on the official website of the University of Health Sciences.

The First Professional BDS Examination held at the end of the first academic year.

According to the UHS, every candidate shall be required to study subjects of Anatomy (including Histology), Physiology, Biochemistry, Oral Biology & Tooth Morphology and Islamic Studies/Ethics & Pakistan Studies.
