University of Health Sciences Lahore announces admissions for Allied Health Sciences, Pharmacy programs

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) convened a joint meeting of the Boards of Studies in Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Friday, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore.

During the conference, the academic calendars with admission timetables for the BS Allied Health Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy programs were approved.

These academic calendars will apply to both the University and its affiliated colleges. According to the calendar, admissions for the fall semester will be posted on July 15. The admission test will take place in the first week of August. The initial merit list will be announced in mid-August, and admissions to the BS and Doctor of Pharmacy programs will be complete by September 30.

The fall semester will begin on October 1, with the first semester courses finished by February 8. Final exams for the first semester begin on February 17.

Admissions for the spring semester will open in January, and classes will begin in April. Depending on their resources, colleges will be able to admit students to BS programs twice a year. On the other hand, the pharmacy program will only accept applications once a year.

Registrar Ms. Kiran Fatima, heads of linked institutions, and UHS Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Nadia Naseem attended the meeting.
