PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has announced of the winter holidays in schools, here Monday.
The holidays will now last until January 6, instead of the previously scheduled end date of January 1.
The decision was made due to the severe cold weather as confirmed by the department.
Previously, winter holidays were announced from December 23 to 31 for schools in plain areas, and from December 23 to February 29, 2025, for schools in mountainous areas.
