No tie-up with PTI, according to Maulana Fazlur Rehman

According to JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman, his party and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, their longtime rivals, are not in an alliance.
“PTI personnel have visited on previous occasions. They are not the first to arrive. We’ve respected them ever since,” Fazl The query was posed in light of last week’s meeting between the head of JUI-F and a delegation from the PTI.

The parties claim to have come to an understanding that the elections on February 8 were rigged and will only cause instability.

Barrister Saif, Amir Dogar, Fazal Khan, and Asad Qaiser headed the PTI delegation. According to Fazl’s statement during the interview, there is a “culture” wherein gatherings between two parties are referred to as “alliances.” He clarified that politicians never shut the door to conversation and that in Pashtun tradition, people do not turn away guests.

The religious-political figure reaffirmed that his party was not entirely satisfied with the nation’s election outcomes. “We have reservations about the PTI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he stated. Fazl referred to the differences between the two parties as “mountains” and stated that they were difficult to surmount.

As political people, he added, “we never say no to talks. If they come and talk to us, it creates an environment where talks take place, and after those talks we go towards solving problems.” “How can we accept such an election from which so many anomalies have arisen?” he questioned in reference to polls.
