TEHRAN: Russian media has claimed that Iran has used such advanced missiles that are capable of evading US missile defense systems and can hit their targets with extraordinary accuracy.

According to reports, Iran’s alleged new missiles move towards their targets at very high speeds and have the ability to change their direction and position during flight, these features making them more difficult targets for conventional missile defense systems.

The report further claims that the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) is expressing concern about how Tehran is hitting sensitive targets with such precision, however, no official confirmation of such a technical assessment has been issued by US officials in this regard.

The reports come at a time when tensions between Iran and the United States remain high in the region, with reports of an attack on a US military base in Jordan on Friday confirming the deaths of two US soldiers and the injury of several others.

Defense experts say that claims about advanced missile technology and defense systems require verification from official and independent sources to be properly investigated.

Due to the ongoing tensions in the region, such reports are also receiving unprecedented attention at the global level, with various countries closely monitoring the situation.
