ISLAMABAD: Gold Price Drop Pakistan has shocked markets as gold rates recorded the biggest one-day fall in history across the country.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs43,600.
It has now reached Rs447,762 in local markets.
The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a major decline.
It decreased by Rs37,380 and is now Rs338,883.
This sharp Gold Price Drop Pakistan is linked to a big fall in international markets.
Globally, gold prices dropped by $436 per ounce, reaching $4,250.
Market experts say this is the largest single-day drop ever recorded.
Gold prices have now fallen more than Rs125,000 per tola from their recent peak.
