The advisory issued by the US State Department said that Americans should leave immediately due to security concerns in Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, including the West Bank and Gaza, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
Due to the tense situation in the region, 155 flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were canceled today.
38 flights from Karachi, 32 from Lahore, and 36 from Islamabad were canceled. 16 from Peshawar, 13 from Sialkot, 8 from Faisalabad, 10 from Multan, and 2 from Quetta were canceled.
Pakistan’s number of canceled flights to the Middle East has exceeded 600 in 4 days.
