My wife and Field Marshal shaped my life, Says Vance

BERGENSTOCK: US Vice President JD Vance’s statement about his wife and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir went viral on social media.
Before the start of the Iran-US talks in the city of Bergenstock, Switzerland, US Vice President JD Vance spoke to the media along with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

On this occasion, he paid tribute to the Pakistani leadership and said that Field Marshal Asim Munir is a great military leader, the role of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir is commendable, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is an excellent military commander.

JD Vance said that ever since Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed me in Islamabad, I have been jokingly saying that one of the two most important figures in my life is Indian and the other is Pakistani. The Indian figure is my wife, while the Pakistani figure is Field Marshal Asim Munir.

He said that I have hardly talked to anyone as much as I have with Field Marshal Asim Munir in 3 months. If it were not for the strategy of Field Marshal, we might not be here. Pakistan’s role was appreciated all over the world.

The US Vice President said that we want to do better for the future, we want Iran’s positive role for peace, establishing peace in the Middle East.

JD Vance said that President Trump has given us the authority to find a diplomatic path to solve many problems. Now we see a future where everyone works together for peace and prosperity.

He further said that President Trump has asked us to make a new beginning and improve our relations with the Iranian people. Today is a great day for peace, development and ending the crisis.
