PM Shehbaz departs for Saudi Arabia on official visit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif departs for an official visit to Saudi Arabia today at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

According to a statement by the Foreign Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in Riyadh this afternoon on an official visit along with a high-level delegation.

Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, senior ministers, and other senior officials will also accompany the Prime Minister.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will meet Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman. The meeting is of utmost importance in the context of Pak-Saudi relations.

The meeting will review all aspects of Pak-Saudi relations, including regional security and Israeli aggression. The two leaders will also discuss the latest situation in the region and the world.

It is expected that this visit will result in agreements on cooperation in various fields that will further broaden and deepen the relations between the two brotherly countries.

According to the Foreign Office, the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on history, religion, values, ​​and mutual trust.

“The Prime Minister’s visit will provide an important opportunity to further strengthen the unique partnership between the two countries and explore new avenues of cooperation, so that both peoples can reap the benefits.”
