PM Shehbaz thanks Donald Trump for halting ‘Project Freedom’
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Switzerland to attend the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet various world leaders, including US President Donald Trump.
According to a statement issued by the Media Wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister was warmly welcomed at the Zurich International Airport by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Muhammad Bilal, Pakistani Ambassador to Switzerland Marghoob Saleem and Pakistani diplomatic staff.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying him to attend the World Economic Forum meeting. The Prime Minister will participate in various sessions of the meeting.
He will also participate in the Business Round Table hosted and organized in partnership with the World Economic Forum.
The Prime Minister will highlight the reforms undertaken for Pakistan’s economic stability and improving economic indicators, and will also express his views on the Triple O Program (Order, Opportunity, Optimization).
