Pakistan confirms 14th polio case of 2025

ISLAMABAD: The National Institute of Health (NIH) said on Tuesday that Pakistan’s 14th polio case of 2025 has been reported in the North Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the NIH, the 19-month-old child infected with the polio virus is a resident of Miran Shah 3.

So far this year, eight polio cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four in Sindh, one in Punjab and one in Gilgit-Baltistan.
