HYDERABAD: In a first in Pakistan, the doctors at Hyderabad Civil Hospital have conducted the first successful free tummy tuck surgery of a lady on Monday.

According to details, Dr. Kashan Sheikh and Roshan Chandio conducted a tummy tuck surgery on a 55-year-old lady from Matiari. 8 kilograms of excess fat were cut out during the surgery, according to Dr. Roshan.

Because of being too heavy, the woman had great trouble walking, he further added. The operation took more than two hours, and the patient is no longer in danger.

Tummy tuck surgery is normally only accessible in some big private hospitals in Karachi, said Dr. Roshan.

Earlier, a Lahore surgeon assisted a female school teacher, who had been lying on a bed for the last 14 years, in losing 90 kilograms of her weight after he performed bariatric surgery on her for free.

The surgery for weight reduction enabled the woman to shift from her bed after 14 years of suffering she endured due to the obesity problem.

As per reports, Surgeon Professor Maaz ul Hassan ‎did the free-of-cost bariatric surgery on the school teacher who used to weigh as much as 200 kilograms.

“The cost of the bariatric surgery is typically up to Rs2 million,” Maaz ul Hassan stated, and continued that he did the surgery free of cost because as a doctor, they must alleviate a person’s sufferings.
