LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved the ‘CM Dialysis Programme’ which aims to facilitate kidney patients who are suffering from kidney failure or any related disease.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz where she addressed the key initiatives and measures to improve dialysis treatment for kidney patients.
Under this program, the patients will be provided financial assistance up to RS 1 million, with a set amount of 850,000 per patient in Punjab.
The patients will be provided with a dialysis card. Additionally, Rs. 150,000 has been allocated per patient for dialysis support across the province.
During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of dialysis for all patients and agreed to launch multiple dialysis units in Punjab to provide hassle-free treatment to the patients.
The patients will also be provided free medicines and tests which will be able for early detection of any abnormalities.
The healthcare staff are compiled to strictly follow the SOPs to prevent any contagious disease among the patients.
