Punjab Food Authority seized a large batch of fake drinks, 834 liters of non-standard drinks were destroyed, the warehouse owner was fined 50 thousand rupees.

Spokesperson Food Authority says that the operation was conducted at a warehouse in Babulal Hussain Road Ganj Mandi, where fake, non-label energy drinks were stored.

According to the spokesperson of the Food Authority, unhealthy juices and energy drinks were to be sold in the market, the food safety team destroyed hundreds of liters of energy drinks.

A spokesman for the Food Authority says that fake, non-label energy drinks worth around Rs 6 lakh were stored in the store.
