Punjab reports four dengue fever deaths in the last 24 hours

LAHORE: Dengue fever has claimed four lives in Punjab in last 24 hours while so far eight people have their lives to the virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Cases of dengue are on rise in Punjab as 452 cases were reported in Lahore, 49 in Rawalpindi, 12 each in Gujranwala and Sheikhupura.
On the other hand, 253 cases of the virus were reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including 179 in Peshawar.
As per provincial health department, so far eight people have died of the dengue.
