Six more dengue cases confirmed in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Six more dengue cases were reported in Rawalpindi, taking the total number of patients including Murree to 58 on Tuesday.

According to the health department, 4,475 people have been screened so far in 2025.

A total of 30 cases have been reported in Rawalpindi district and 28 in Murree. However, no casualties have been reported so far and 11 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals.

2,288 cases have been registered for violation of dengue SOPs, 1,257 buildings have been sealed and fines of over Rs 4.2 million have been imposed.

The health department has appealed to citizens to follow precautionary measures.
