Spike in measles, chickenpox & mumps cases among children in Karachi

KARACHI: Cases of measles, chickenpox and mumps have started increasing among children in Karachi.

According to officials, the symptoms of measles, chickenpox and mumps include fever, body aches and skin rashes.

Officials say that 3 to 4 children are being brought to the OPD of government hospitals every day with these symptoms.

According to medical experts, the spread of viral infections increases during the changing season, children should be vaccinated, especially against measles and chickenpox, on time.
