QUETTA: An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 struck several cities in Balochistan including Quetta and areas surrounding the Pakistan-Iran border early Tuesday.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the tremors were also felt in several cities including Noshki, Chaman, Qilla Abdullah, Pishin, Dalbandin, Chagai District, and Quetta Valley and its surroundings.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.4 on the Richter scale at 5:35 am. The epicenter of the earthquake was 150 km southwest of Quetta at a depth of 35 km.

Met Department said the earthquake had a latitude of 29.76N and a longitude of 65.36E.
