Ahad Cheema acquitted from NAB reference of assets in excess of income

Lahore: The Accountability Court acquitted Prime Minister’s advisor Ahad Cheema from the reference of assets in excess of income.

Judge Malik Ali Zulqarnain of the Accountability Court of Lahore delivered a safe verdict of acquittal of Ahad Cheema, in which the court acquitted him from the NAB reference.

NAB Lahore had filed a reference against Ahmed Cheema in 2018 for assets in excess of income.

Talking to the media after the verdict of the accountability court, Ahad Cheema said that today is a day of great joy that justice has been achieved.

When all this was happening, the Civil Secretariat officers trusted me.

He said that Chairman NAB’s speech is welcome, where there is a mistake, it should be acknowledged, it is the job of the head of the institution to correct the mistake.
