In the recently held general elections, the PTI-backed independent winners from the KP assembly constituencies have joined the SIC to secure reserved seats for women and minorities.

Meanwhile, Gandapur – who won from Dera Ismail Khan – will also contest for the post of PTI provincial president during the intra-party elections on March 3. The former federal minister has also submitted nomination papers.

Sources privy to the development told that another party member, Ali Asghar, has also submitted papers for the post of PTI’s provincial general secretary.
