Armed attack on Ghotki village results in five deaths

GHOTKI: On Saturday, a group of people opened fire on them close to Daharki in the Sindhi area of c, resulting in five fatalities and five injuries.

According to the police, two people were hurt and at least five people died in a shooting event that occurred in Jam Bajar hamlet when unknown armed men attacked.

According to authorities, the deadly incident was the consequence of a longstanding conflict between two tribes. Police stated, “The accused had attacked on a village Bethak (meeting place).”

However, two people, Mansoor Pathan and Ghulam Rasool Bakhrani, who were abducted off the Indus Highway 20 days ago while traveling to their hometown, have been made public by the dacoits of the katcha area in Tangwani, Sindh.

In the film, the captives are shown being tortured by dacoits while pleading with their relatives to give the captors a ransom to free them.

Families of the detainees, deeply disturbed by the video, have urged Sindh’s inspector general of police and other authorities to act to secure their loved ones’ release.

On the other side, SSP Tangwani Bashir Ahmad Brohi has stated that all of the detainees will soon be reunited with their families and that an operation against dacoits is underway in the katcha area.
