The local court of Islamabad rejected FIA’s request for further physical remand of journalist Asad Ali Toor. Asad Toor was judicially sent to jail. Hearing on the review appeal against the physical remand of journalist Asad Ali Toor ,the Sessions Court reserved its decision on the revision appeal and the plea of discharge from the case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the application. FIA further requested the physical remand of Asad Toor remanded for 10 days. Judge stated that What has been investigated in the 10-day remand?

FIA prosecutors said that the Accounts were reviewed, multiple devices were recovered, voice matching was done in these days. they also stated that some of the gadgets are yet to be recovered.

Toor was placed under physical remand for five days by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after being arrested on February 26 and appearing before a court magistrate. In front of the FIA’s senior civil judge/judicial magistrate, the prosecution presented Toor and requested his custody in order to conduct additional research.
