Authorities applauded the prompt actions taken to halt traffic following the vessel’s power deficiency, which prevented additional casualties.

These folks are heroes because they are able to prevent cars from crossing the bridge. At a press conference a few hours later, Maryland Governor Wes Moore stated, “They saved lives last night.”

According to Moore, the bridge complied with regulations and had no known structural problems.

Governor Moore stated that in order to allay concerns regarding the potential of a criminal act or structural problems, the bridge complies with safety regulations.

Finding the missing people and providing their families with the necessary support during the trying times following the terrible catastrophe are the primary objectives of the search expedition.
