Clear Sky in Lahore After Rain

LAHORE: The city saw beautiful sunshine on Friday following a stretch of refreshing rain, which was a welcome respite after months of smog and fog. With the brilliant morning sunshine in Lahore, the cold also became slightly less intense following the rain.

The city’s minimum temperature today was eight degrees Celsius, while the midday high is predicted to be nineteen degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.

At present, the atmospheric humidity is a high ninety-eight percent. The good news is that the amount of air pollution in the city has decreased. Even though Lahore is the 18th most polluted city in the world, its air quality index (AQI) has improved. The Gulberg district and Mall Road had the greatest levels of pollution, with 164 and 166 AQI, respectively, while the overall AQI was measured at 113.
