ISLAMABAD :The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is experiencing growing internal strife as the general elections of 2024 get near, and if this trend persists, there is concern for the party’s electoral future.

Without the guidance of former prime minister Imran Khan, the central leadership has been unable to make a definitive choice about how to conduct the election campaign. The PTI Punjab leadership has also been accused of unfairly distributing and selling tickets, and it is well known that Aleema Khan, the sister of Imran Khan, and Umeer Niazi played a crucial part in the recent election ticket distribution process.

The fact that there is disagreement among PTI’s top leadership over election campaign decisions is one of the organization’s primary issues.

Internal PTI struggle has been made evident by the accusations made by Ali Sher Marwat against the party’s general secretary, Rouf Hassan, whereas Ali Sher Marwat’s remarks about President Arif Alvi have only served to further isolate the PTI.

Instead, a fresh discussion has begun across the nation. Gohar Ali Khan, the party’s senior leader, is playing a crucial role in handling the entire situation. He is working to bring all the key players in the leadership together so that disagreements over decisions do not affect the leadership. However, so far, their efforts do not appear to be fruitful.
