LAHORE: The Punjab government has brought the driving license facility to the doorstep of the people, the Dastak app has been linked to D-Lims.
The Punjab government has taken an important step to provide driving license facilities to the citizens sitting at home and has linked the “Dastak” application to the Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS).
According to the Punjab Traffic Police, citizens will now be able to get several services related to driving licenses through the Dastak application, which aims to save the people from going to offices and make the facilities more convenient.
According to the report, citizens can apply for a learner driving license at home through the Dastak app, while the renewal facility is also available when the license expires.
In addition, a duplicate license to replace a lost or damaged license and an application for an international driving license for traveling abroad can also be submitted online.
According to the Traffic Police Punjab, the fee for learner driving license has been fixed at Rs 500 per category, while the fee for renewal and duplicate license will be charged as per the category of the concerned vehicle or motorcycle as per the government rules.
Install the Dastak application on the Play Store and get information and facilities related to driving licenses of different categories including motorcycle, car, jeep, LTV and HTV and benefit from it.
